Today is the second to the last session of music class and in music class we did another assessment but it was find as I didn't mind it that much. We also got a booklet where we're supposed to printscreen our work and paste it there. Afterwards, in music class I redo'd which made my new score 7.5 which is automatically a six and to me that's a good thing! :)

We had our music assessment today and I was the one who read the criteria in front of the whole class, Mr. John said he liked the way I talk or my pronunciation at least. Thanks! I went last in the performing category of the flute, I think I sounded alright but I sort of have this fear whereas the sound won't came out and some of them didn't come out which was said because when I practiced I had the ability to sound really good.

Today we practiced, everyone had to actually however we didn't have enough time. For flute it was Serena, Jessica, Jasmine and Cheung. It was supposed to be me but Mr. Hary made Cheung do it because everyone was flute and she was the only one who played saxophone. Afterwards in instrument class we played our instruments and practiced as our assessment is on Thursday. I'm quite confident for this.

We didn't have music today because it was a public holiday.

In theory we were told our scores in the written test, my score is 7/8 which is good but the highest was Jessica Leony as she got 7.5 so mad props to her!! We also learned reading of notes which was easier for me as it was do, re, mi and I think that's easier to read than C,D,E, etc etc. We also learned good pitching - sounded like a dying cat once again.

In music theory I practiced in front of everyone and sounded neutral, the note that I am really bad at is 're' but now I can do it (at least I think I have to ability to but confidence is the key says people)! For instrument class we were released early as we had interclass and we obviously practiced more.

This week we revised a couple of notations and two from each instrument class practiced their song. I'm going to do so next week. During music instrument I practiced and played Santa lucia - very difficult actually as you have to do long notes and my breathing isn't that good - I realized Odd to Joy was easier and now I shall stick with Odd to Joy!
